WHAT IS A CHURCH SERVICE LIKE?
Church services at RSBC are centered on worship and learning together. When you attend a service at RSBC, you can expect worship, teaching from the Bible, and opportunities to learn through studies and classes for all ages. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, making it easy for newcomers to feel comfortable and engaged.
WHAT IS THE WORSHIP MUSIC LIKE?
At RSBC, we believe worship is more than just music, it’s how we pursue God together through prayer, Scripture, reflection, service, and generosity. Our worship services are a time to express that together as a community.
Musically, our worship includes a live band with singers, guitars, keyboards, piano, drums, and percussion. You’ll hear a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs commonly heard on Christian radio.
WHAT IS THE TEACHING LIKE?
Teaching at RSBC is rooted in the Bible and focused on Jesus. Our messages walk through Scripture in a clear, thoughtful way, helping people understand what each passage means and how it fits into the bigger story of the Bible. Each message is designed to be practical, offering clear takeaways you can apply to everyday life.
WHAT VERSION OF THE BIBLE DO WE USE?
At RSBC, we primarily use the New King James Version (NKJV) of the Bible for teaching and Scripture readings. You’re welcome to bring any Bible translation you’re comfortable with, as all are welcome to follow along.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
We’re glad to welcome families at RSBC! Age-appropriate classes and activities for children are offered before Sunday services, giving kids a chance to learn about Jesus, the gospel, and God’s unconditional love through engaging Bible lessons and activities. During the service, families are invited to worship together as one community.
